- In a large mixing bowl, combine sourdough discard, warm water, sugar, and salt. Stir until dissolved.
- Gradually add flour and baking powder, mixing until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Divide the dough into small pieces and roll each piece into a bite-sized shape.
Cooking
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add the baking soda.
- Drop the pretzel bites into the boiling water for about 30 seconds, then remove with a slotted spoon and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
