Preparation
- In a bowl, toss the chicken pieces with flour until coated.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken and set aside.
Sauce Preparation
- In the same skillet, combine orange juice, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, ginger, and garlic. Bring to a simmer.
- In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of water until smooth, then add it to the sauce to thicken.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and stir to coat. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
Serving
- Season with salt and pepper, and serve over cooked rice or noodles.
Notes
Make sure to coat the chicken pieces evenly with flour for a crispy texture. You can add steamed vegetables on the side for a complete meal. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
