Preparation
- Melt the white chocolate chips or melting wafers in a microwave-safe bowl by heating in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
- Stir in the toasted pecans, dried cranberries, and vanilla extract (if using) until well combined and coated in chocolate.
- Drop clusters of the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, each about a tablespoon in size.
- Sprinkle flaky sea salt on top of the clusters, if desired.
- Refrigerate the baking sheet for about 30 minutes or until the chocolate hardens.
Serving
- Once the clusters are set, serve on a platter or in a decorative bowl. Enjoy on their own, or add to a gift tray.
Storage
- Place clusters in an airtight container and store in a cool, dry place or refrigerator for longer freshness.
- They should last for about a week if stored properly.
Notes
Make sure to toast pecans for enhanced flavor. Be careful not to overheat the chocolate; melting it slowly helps prevent burning. Customizations can include using different nuts or dried fruits.
