- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until combined. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9x9-inch baking dish. Refrigerate for 20 minutes to set.
- Beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and mix well. Fold in whipped topping gently until creamy.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chilled crust. Smooth the surface with a spatula.
- Spoon the strawberry pie filling evenly over the cream layer without mixing the layers.
- Chill the dessert for at least 3 to 4 hours, or until fully set.
- Before serving, spread additional whipped topping on top and garnish with fresh strawberry slices if desired. Slice and serve chilled.
Notes
For a fresher version, replace canned strawberry pie filling with 2 cups sliced fresh strawberries mixed with 2-3 tablespoons sugar and 1 tablespoon lemon juice. Chill overnight for cleaner slices.
