Cream Cheese Layer
  • 8 oz Cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1.5 cups Whipped topping
Strawberry Layer
  • 21 oz Strawberry pie filling 1 can
Topping
  • 1 cup Whipped topping For garnish
  • 0.5 cup Fresh strawberries Sliced, optional garnish

Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until combined. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9x9-inch baking dish. Refrigerate for 20 minutes to set.
  2. Beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and mix well. Fold in whipped topping gently until creamy.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chilled crust. Smooth the surface with a spatula.
  4. Spoon the strawberry pie filling evenly over the cream layer without mixing the layers.
  5. Chill the dessert for at least 3 to 4 hours, or until fully set.
  6. Before serving, spread additional whipped topping on top and garnish with fresh strawberry slices if desired. Slice and serve chilled.

Notes

For a fresher version, replace canned strawberry pie filling with 2 cups sliced fresh strawberries mixed with 2-3 tablespoons sugar and 1 tablespoon lemon juice. Chill overnight for cleaner slices.
