Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces Bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika smoked or regular
  • 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper

Equipment

  • Parchment Paper or Foil

Method

Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  2. Pat the chicken thighs completely dry with paper towels to help the skin crisp.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken thighs. In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Rub the seasoning evenly over the chicken.
  4. Place the chicken thighs skin-side up on the baking sheet, leaving space between each piece.
  5. Bake for 45–50 minutes, until the skin is crispy and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Optional: broil for 3–5 minutes for extra crispiness.
  6. Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, always pat the chicken skin dry and bake at high heat. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
