  • 4 slices Colby Jack or cheddar cheese slices
  • 1 cup Shredded lettuce
Honey Mustard Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Yellow mustard
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 1 pinch Salt Optional
  • 1 pinch Black pepper Optional

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Cook the chicken tenders according to package directions in the oven or air fryer until golden brown and crispy.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, yellow mustard, honey, salt, and pepper until smooth to make the honey mustard sauce.
  3. Lightly warm or toast the hot dog buns in the oven or on a skillet until soft and slightly golden.
  4. Place one hot chicken tender inside each bun. Immediately top with a slice of cheese so it begins to melt.
  5. Add shredded lettuce and drizzle generously with honey mustard sauce. Serve immediately while warm and crispy.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute half of the mayonnaise with plain Greek yogurt. You can also add pickles, jalapeƱos, or swap cheddar for Pepper Jack for extra flavor.
