  • 1.5 lb Boneless skinless chicken breast (or thighs) cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp Salt or to taste
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
Butter Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 4 tbsp Unsalted butter divided
  • 4 Garlic cloves minced
  • 0.75 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp Honey or sugar adjust to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Equipment

  • Large Skillet or Cast-Iron Pan
  • Wooden spoon or spatula

Method

Instructions
  1. Season the chicken with paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken until golden on both sides, then remove from the skillet.
  3. Lower the heat to medium, add remaining butter, then sauté the garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and scrape the bottom of the skillet to deglaze. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and honey. Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer until fully cooked and the sauce thickens.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Serve with rice, mashed potatoes, or warm bread to soak up the creamy butter sauce. For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream.
