  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened Make sure it's softened for easier mixing.
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup Adjust sweetness according to preference.
  • 1/2 cup crushed strawberries Use fresh strawberries for the best flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup coconut flakes (optional) For rolling the protein balls.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine the almond flour and protein powder.
  2. Add the softened cream cheese, honey or maple syrup, crushed strawberries, vanilla extract, and salt.
  3. Mix until well combined.
  4. If the mixture is too wet, add more almond flour until it holds together.
  5. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  6. Optionally, roll the protein balls in coconut flakes.
  7. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.

Notes

These protein balls can be served right out of the fridge and are great for on-the-go snacking or sharing during workouts. Store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week, or freeze for longer storage.
