Preparation
- In a bowl, combine the almond flour and protein powder.
- Add the softened cream cheese, honey or maple syrup, crushed strawberries, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Mix until well combined.
- If the mixture is too wet, add more almond flour until it holds together.
- Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Optionally, roll the protein balls in coconut flakes.
- Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
Notes
These protein balls can be served right out of the fridge and are great for on-the-go snacking or sharing during workouts. Store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week, or freeze for longer storage.
