  • 1 cup Whole milk ricotta cheese strained if watery
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil extra virgin preferred
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt or to taste
Hot Honey Topping
  • 3 tablespoons Honey gently warmed
  • 0.5 teaspoon Red pepper flakes adjust to taste
  • 1 clove Garlic minced

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Add the ricotta, olive oil, and salt to a food processor or bowl and whip until smooth and creamy.
  2. In a small saucepan, gently heat olive oil with garlic and red pepper flakes until fragrant, without browning.
  3. Warm the honey separately and stir in additional red pepper flakes if desired.
  4. Spread the whipped ricotta into a serving dish and drizzle with the spiced oil and hot honey.
  5. Serve immediately with bread, crackers, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

For best texture, use whole milk ricotta and strain if needed. Adjust spice level by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
