  • 2 pieces bell peppers (one red, one yellow, sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste) For a milder version, reduce or omit.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro (for garnish)

Method
 

Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the sliced bell peppers and sauté until they are tender, about 4-5 minutes.
  6. Slice the chicken and return it to the skillet, mixing it with the bell peppers.
  7. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

This dish pairs well with rice, quinoa, or salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat in the microwave or on the stove.
