Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into squares.
- In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, sourdough discard, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Place a dollop of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each pastry square.
- Top with a few fresh raspberries.
- Fold the corners of the pastry squares over the filling to create a danish shape.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Place the danishes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Baking
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar if desired before serving.
