Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces Boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Salt or to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper or to taste
Creamy Boursin Sauce
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 0.5 cup Chicken broth low sodium preferred
  • 5.2 oz Boursin garlic and herb cheese
  • 0.5 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Equipment

  • Large Skillet
  • Wooden spoon or spatula

Method

Instructions
  1. Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5–7 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and scrape the bottom of the pan to deglaze and release the browned bits.
  5. Add the Boursin cheese and heavy cream. Stir until the cheese melts and the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer for 2–3 minutes, spooning the sauce over the chicken.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm with your favorite side dishes.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream. Serve with pasta, rice, or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
