  • 1 lb ground beef Use lean ground beef to reduce grease
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, diced Feel free to add other vegetables like mushrooms or spinach
Pasta and Broth
  • 2 cups cooked pasta (like penne or rotini) You can also use whole wheat or gluten-free pasta
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce Can substitute with soy sauce if unavailable
Cheeses
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Try different types like mozzarella or pepper jack for varied flavors
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
Seasoning

  • to taste pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess grease.
  3. Add diced onion and bell pepper to the skillet and cook until softened.
  4. Stir in the cooked pasta, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
Baking
  1. Top the casserole with shredded cheddar and provolone cheese.
  2. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Serving
  1. Serve warm, ideally right out of the oven while the cheese is still gooey.
