Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 3 tbsp Fresh lime juice
  • 2 tbsp Orange juice optional but recommended
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 3 tbsp Soy sauce (low sodium) or coconut aminos
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Red bell pepper, finely chopped

Equipment

  • Grill or grill pan
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Tongs

Method

Instructions
  1. In a bowl, whisk together lime juice, orange juice, honey, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, cilantro, and red bell pepper.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a dish or zip-top bag and pour the marinade over them. Coat well, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates.
  4. Grill the chicken for 6–8 minutes per side, until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Remove from the grill, let rest for 5 minutes, then serve with fresh citrus slices and herbs.

Notes

For best results, do not marinate longer than 4 hours to avoid breaking down the chicken texture. Serve with rice, grilled vegetables, or a fresh salad.
