  • 1 Frozen ripe banana
  • 2 tbsp Fresh lime juice Key lime or regular lime
  • 1 tsp Lime zest
  • 1/2 cup Vanilla yogurt Use coconut yogurt for dairy-free
  • 3/4 cup Light coconut milk Or milk of choice
  • 1 cup Fresh spinach Optional but recommended
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp Maple syrup or honey Optional, to taste

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Add the frozen banana, lime juice, lime zest, yogurt, coconut milk, spinach, and vanilla extract to a high-speed blender.
  2. Blend on high until completely smooth and creamy. Add a splash of milk if needed to reach desired consistency.
  3. Taste and add sweetener if desired. Blend again briefly, then pour into a glass and serve immediately.

Notes

For a thicker smoothie, use less liquid or add more frozen banana. Garnish with whipped cream and graham cracker crumbs for a true key lime pie experience.
