Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix almond flour, shredded mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, egg, salt, and pepper until a dough forms.
- Roll out the dough on parchment paper into a circle.
- Add your desired fillings on one half of the dough.
- Fold the other half over and pinch the edges to seal.
- Brush the calzone with olive oil.
Baking
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
Notes
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You can freeze the calzones before baking for up to a month. Bake directly from frozen, adding a few extra minutes to the baking time.
