  • 1 lb ground beef Use lean ground beef for a healthier option.
  • 1 cup bell peppers, diced Any color bell pepper works.
  • 1 cup carrots, shredded
  • 1 cup green onions, chopped For garnish and flavor.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce Adjust for taste.
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 head lettuce (butter or romaine), leaves separated Use for wrapping.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season according to preference.

Method
 

Cooking
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, add ground beef and cook until browned.
  2. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add diced bell peppers, shredded carrots, garlic, and ginger to the skillet and cook until vegetables are tender.
  4. Stir in soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Serve the mixture in lettuce cups.

Notes

For a spicy kick, consider adding chili sauce or sriracha. Leftover mixture can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
