Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk.
- Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Gently fold in the chopped strawberries.
Baking
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- While the bread is baking, prepare the glaze by mixing the powdered sugar with strawberry juice or water until smooth.
Finishing
- Once the bread is cooled, drizzle the strawberry glaze over the top and let it set before slicing.
- Serve the Glazed Strawberry Bread warm or at room temperature.
Notes
Wrap tightly in plastic wrap or place in an airtight container to keep fresh for up to 3 days. It can be stored in the fridge for about a week or frozen for up to 3 months. Enjoy plain, or with butter or cream cheese.
