- Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes. Pat chicken dry, then toss with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Thread tightly onto skewers.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, melt butter. Add minced garlic and cook 1–2 minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat and stir in parmesan, hot sauce, red pepper flakes, and parsley. Reserve one-third of the sauce for finishing.
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F. Cook skewers for 5 minutes, flip and baste with sauce. Cook another 4–5 minutes, flip again and baste. Continue cooking until internal temperature reaches 165°F (about 12–14 minutes total).
- Brush with reserved fresh sauce and sprinkle with additional parmesan before serving.
Notes
For oven: bake at 425°F for 15–20 minutes, flipping and basting halfway. For grill: cook over medium-high heat 10–15 minutes, turning and basting frequently. Omit hot sauce for a mild family-friendly version.
