- Pat the steaks dry and season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steaks for 3–4 minutes per side, depending on desired doneness.
- Add 2 tablespoons butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Spoon the melted garlic butter over the steaks for 1 minute. Remove steaks and let rest.
- In the same skillet, melt 1 tablespoon butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and simmer for 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and mix until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Return steaks to the skillet or spoon the Parmesan cream sauce over the steaks before serving.
Notes
For best results, let the steak rest 5–10 minutes before serving. Freshly grated Parmesan ensures a smoother sauce. Serve with mashed potatoes, pasta, or steamed vegetables.
