Preparation
- Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
- Add marshmallows and stir until melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and mix in Rice Krispies cereal until well coated.
- Add green food coloring to mixture and stir until evenly colored.
- Press the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish and let cool.
- Once cooled, cut into squares and decorate with chocolate melts for the mouth and eyes. Use black gel for additional details.
Notes
Store leftover treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. In warm conditions, keep them in the fridge to prevent them from getting too soft. Coat your hands with butter when shaping the treats to prevent sticking.
