- In a large bowl, combine ground meat, cheese, breadcrumbs, eggs, onion, and garlic. Mix gently until just combined.
- Add chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until the seasoning is evenly distributed.
- Shape the mixture into evenly sized balls and place them on a lined baking sheet. Chill for 10 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C until golden and fully cooked, or pan-fry in a lightly oiled skillet until browned on all sides.
- Let rest for a few minutes before serving warm with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
These Spicy Mexican Donkey Balls can be baked or pan-fried. For a lighter version, use ground chicken or turkey. Serve with salsa, guacamole, or a yogurt-based dip.
