  • 150 g Shredded cheddar or Mexican cheese blend
  • 60 g Breadcrumbs
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 small Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 Garlic cloves, minced
Seasonings
  • 2 tsp Chili powder
  • 1 tsp Ground cumin
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Salt adjust to taste
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper

Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine ground meat, cheese, breadcrumbs, eggs, onion, and garlic. Mix gently until just combined.
  2. Add chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until the seasoning is evenly distributed.
  3. Shape the mixture into evenly sized balls and place them on a lined baking sheet. Chill for 10 minutes.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C until golden and fully cooked, or pan-fry in a lightly oiled skillet until browned on all sides.
  5. Let rest for a few minutes before serving warm with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

These Spicy Mexican Donkey Balls can be baked or pan-fried. For a lighter version, use ground chicken or turkey. Serve with salsa, guacamole, or a yogurt-based dip.
