- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheddar, diced jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- Roll out the puff pastry slightly and spread the filling evenly over half of the pastry.
- Fold the pastry over the filling, gently press, and cut into 1-inch strips.
- Twist each strip and place on the baking sheet. Brush with beaten egg.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes until puffed and golden brown. Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For mild heat, remove all jalapeño seeds. Serve warm with ranch, sour cream, or yogurt dip. Best reheated in the oven or air fryer.
