Ingredients
  

Mango Layer
  • 0.5 cup Ripe mango (fresh or frozen) blended into puree
  • 1 tsp Sweetener optional, to taste
Matcha & Assembly
  • 1 tsp Matcha green tea powder
  • 0.25 cup Hot water not boiling
  • 0.75 cup Milk dairy or plant-based
  • 1 cup Ice cubes

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Matcha whisk or small whisk
  • Tall glass

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Blend the mango until smooth to make a thick puree. Taste and add sweetener if needed.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk the matcha powder with hot water until smooth and slightly frothy.
  3. Fill a tall glass with ice, add the mango puree, then slowly pour in the milk.
  4. Gently pour the prepared matcha on top. Serve immediately, stirred or layered.

Notes

For best flavor, use ripe mango and high-quality matcha. Oat or coconut milk pairs especially well with mango.
