  • 500 g Beef hot dogs sliced into thick coins
  • 1 cup Barbecue sauce
  • 0.5 cup Brown sugar packed
  • 3 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
Seasonings
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Slice the hot dogs into thick bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a large bowl, mix barbecue sauce, brown sugar, honey, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, and all seasonings until smooth.
  3. Add the sliced hot dogs to the bowl and toss until fully coated in the sauce.
  4. Transfer everything to a baking dish and spread into an even layer. Bake uncovered for 60–75 minutes, stirring once or twice, until sticky and caramelized.
  5. Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving warm.

Notes

Use beef, chicken, or turkey hot dogs for a family-friendly version. For less sweetness, reduce the brown sugar slightly. Serve with toothpicks as an appetizer.
