- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and salt until well combined.
- Place the bread halves cut-side up on the baking sheet and spread the garlic butter evenly over the surface.
- Sprinkle Parmesan or mozzarella cheese on top if using.
- Bake for 10–15 minutes until golden and fragrant. Broil for 1–2 minutes if a crispier top is desired.
Notes
For a lighter version, replace half of the butter with olive oil. Serve immediately for best texture.
