- Add peaches, sugar, and water to a saucepan. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Lightly mash the peaches to release their juices. Remove from heat and let cool slightly, then strain to remove solids.
- Pour the peach syrup into a pitcher. Add fresh lemon juice and cold water. Stir well to combine.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or water as needed. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving over ice.
Notes
For a lighter version, reduce sugar or replace part of the water with sparkling water just before serving.
