- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned. Add the diced onion and garlic and cook for 2–3 minutes until fragrant. Drain excess grease.
- Transfer the cooked beef mixture to the slow cooker. Add the processed cheese, cream cheese, diced tomatoes, taco seasoning, and milk.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 1½ to 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes, until the cheese is fully melted and smooth.
- Adjust the consistency with additional milk if needed. Serve warm directly from the slow cooker.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute ground turkey or chicken for the beef. Keep the dip on the WARM setting when serving to maintain a smooth, creamy texture.
