  • 3 tbsp Chives or green onions, chopped
  • 0.5 tsp Salt or to taste
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper
Dough and Topping
  • 2 cans Crescent roll dough
  • 0.5 cup Butter, melted
  • 1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, chives, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. Separate crescent roll dough into triangles. Place a spoonful of filling onto the wide end of each triangle.
  4. Roll the dough around the filling, sealing the edges to form pillows. Place seam-side down in the baking dish.
  5. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the dough is fully cooked and lightly golden.
  6. Brush the hot chicken pillows with melted butter, then sprinkle or roll them in Italian breadcrumbs before serving.
