Method
Cooking
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground chicken until fully cooked. Add teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic. Stir well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- In a separate pan, heat vegetable oil for frying.
- Take a wonton wrapper and place a spoonful of the chicken mixture in the center. Fold the wrapper and seal the edges.
- Fry the wonton tacos in the hot oil until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels.
Serving
- Serve these delicious tacos warm, and let everyone add their favorite toppings such as shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced green onions, avocado, and cilantro.
Notes
Make sure the oil is hot enough before frying the tacos to ensure they come out crispy. Don’t overfill the wonton wrappers to avoid them breaking while frying. Experiment with different fillings like shrimp or vegetables for variety. If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator and reheat them in an oven to regain some crunch before serving.
