- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together milk, heavy cream, melted butter, cream cheese, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Add uncooked macaroni to the baking dish, pour the liquid mixture over it, and stir in half of the shredded cheeses.
- Cover tightly with foil and bake for 35 minutes until the pasta is tender.
- Remove foil, top with remaining cheese, and bake uncovered for 10–15 minutes until bubbly and lightly golden.
- Let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, replace half of the heavy cream with extra milk. Add vegetables like broccoli or peas for extra nutrition.
