  • 2 cups Elbow macaroni (uncooked)
  • 2 cups Whole milk
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 4 tbsp Unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 oz Cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded divided
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together milk, heavy cream, melted butter, cream cheese, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Add uncooked macaroni to the baking dish, pour the liquid mixture over it, and stir in half of the shredded cheeses.
  4. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 35 minutes until the pasta is tender.
  5. Remove foil, top with remaining cheese, and bake uncovered for 10–15 minutes until bubbly and lightly golden.
  6. Let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, replace half of the heavy cream with extra milk. Add vegetables like broccoli or peas for extra nutrition.
