Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
- Toss the cubed chicken with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Optionally, sear the chicken in a skillet for 2 minutes to lock in juices.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the softened cream cheese, heavy cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.
- Place the seasoned chicken in the greased dish and pour the creamy sauce over it, tossing to coat evenly.
- Top the chicken with the shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
Baking
- Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (reaches 165°F) and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with crispy bacon crumbles and fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For a spicier variant, add red pepper flakes or chopped jalapeños to the sauce. You can swap in different cheeses such as pepper jack or gouda for unique flavors.
