  • 20 oz Cheese Tortellini Fresh or refrigerated
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • Salt To taste
  • Black Pepper To taste
Cracked Garlic Cream Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 5 cloves Garlic Cloves, cracked Lightly crushed
  • 1.5 cups Heavy Cream
  • 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese Freshly grated
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 0.25 tsp Red Pepper Flakes Optional
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley Chopped, for garnish

Equipment

  • Large Pot
  • Large Skillet

Method

Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook tortellini according to package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain and set aside.
  2. Season steak pieces with salt and black pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the skillet. Once melted, add cracked garlic and sauté 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and simmer 4-6 minutes until slightly thickened. Stir in parmesan, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes until smooth.
  5. Return steak and juices to the skillet. Add cooked tortellini and gently toss to coat. Add reserved pasta water if needed to adjust consistency.
  6. Simmer 1-2 minutes to combine flavors. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

For best results, avoid overcooking the steak and use freshly grated parmesan for a smooth, creamy sauce. You can substitute half-and-half for a lighter version or add spinach for extra nutrition.
