Main Ingredients
  • 2 medium Potatoes (Russet or Yukon Gold) thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil or Avocado Oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt or to taste
Optional Seasonings
  • 0.25 teaspoon Garlic Powder optional
  • 0.25 teaspoon Paprika optional

  • Mandoline Slicer or Sharp Knife

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Wash and scrub the potatoes, then slice them very thin using a mandoline or sharp knife.
  2. Soak the potato slices in cold water for 10–20 minutes to remove excess starch. Drain and pat completely dry.
  3. Toss the dried potato slices with oil, salt, and any optional seasonings until lightly coated.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Arrange potato slices in a single layer and cook for 12–16 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  5. Remove chips once golden and crispy. Let cool slightly before serving. Repeat with remaining batches.

Notes

For extra crispiness, cook in small batches and remove thinner slices early to prevent burning.
